Connecting gutters to sewer.
The buried downspout drain line shown at left is one that we d recommend abandoning it connects to a drain line that enters the building through the foundation wall and passes below the basement floor incorporating a basement floor drain ultimately connecting the the sewer line.
If your city isn t in control of your installation ask a plumber what you need to do.
Since the house due to its age has a combined sewer system ie at other side of house the guttering goes into a bottle gulley which discharges into the same drain as the bathroom waste is it okay legal to connect the downpipe to the sewer system again via a bottle gully.
Connect to the city s storm sewer system or set up a drywell system.
Ultimately i have 2 options.
